About Us

Compassion for Every Animal

Pawsitive Change Society is a nonprofit of Gibson County volunteers dedicated to supporting our community’s animal shelter and the animals in its care. We believe every animal deserves compassionate care, a safe place to wait, and a loving home to call their own.

We work alongside the shelter to improve life for local animals every day. From fostering and adoption assistance to our Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Release (TNVR) program for community cats, our donation-based food pantry, and adoption events that connect pets with loving families, we’re proud to support Gibson County’s animals in every way we can. None of this would be possible without our dedicated volunteers and the generosity of donors who help fund our mission.

What We Do

Fostering

We manage foster placement for shelter animals, matching them with loving temporary homes until they’re ready for adoption.

Adoption Assistance

We help guide adopters through the process, though final adoption decisions rest with the shelter.

Spay & Neuter

We support spay and neuter efforts, including TNVR services for stray cats, to improve animal welfare countywide.

Community Support

From our donation-based food pantry to volunteer programs, we help animals and their owners throughout Gibson County.

$35 Saves a Life

Your donation helps cover food, medical care, and supplies for shelter animals and our community programs. Every dollar makes a difference.
